How to travel with your bicycle or scooter?
Bicycles and scooters: eco-friendly solutions for getting around the Région Sud (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur)!
Everything you need to know before travelling with your bicycle or scooter:
On board ZOU ! trains
- Reserved spaces are available, marked by bicycle pictograms placed outside the trains.
- Transporting your bicycle or scooter is free of charge.
- Off-peak hours (mid-morning or afternoon) are preferable; if the train is very busy, you may be refused permission to transport your bicycle.
- Large vehicles such as cargo bikes, tandem bikes, trailers and scooters measuring more than 130 x 190 cm are not permitted.
Note: Bicycles are not permitted on the Chemins de Fer de Provence railway line.
On board ZOU ! buses
- Your bicycle can be transported on certain regular routes, at certain stops and during specific periods. Space is available in the luggage compartment or on the external rack at the rear of the bus, subject to availability (See the list of equipped lines HERE)
- To reserve your bike space, please call customer service at least 48 hours before your trip
- ZOU ! customer service: +33 (0)4 13 94 30 50 (local call rate; every day from 7am to 8pm)
- Bicycle transport is free of charge
