PASS ZOU ! Études
It is a travel pass for 3 to 25-year-olds attending school in the Région Sud.
It offers unlimited travel on ZOU ! and Chemins de Fer de Provence buses and trains from 1 September to 31 August, including weekends and school holidays.
It also includes journeys on ZOU ! buses to the departments of Ardèche, Drôme, Gard, Isère and Monaco.
The PASS ZOU ! Études is available to ALL young people aged 3 to 25 who are in education in the Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur:
- School pupils
- Students
- Apprentices
- Vocational training trainees
- Students on healthcare and social care courses
- Civic service volunteers
The PASS ZOU ! Études offers unlimited travel on ZOU ! buses and trains from 1 September to 31 August, including weekends and holidays, for journeys to school or for leisure outside urban networks, metropolitan areas and the TGV.
It allows travel on ZOU ! buses (school buses – subject to certain conditions, inter-city buses and regional express routes) and trains (TER SUD and Chemins de fer de Provence lines) on the ZOU ! network.
Please note! Don’t forget to download a €0 ticket for a TER journey.

You can request a replacement:
- A charge of €10 applies in the event of loss, theft or deliberate damage to the card,
- Free of charge if the card is faulty
You are invited to:
- Order your replacement online (requires you to create a personal ZOU ! account > log in for pupils aged 3 to 18 travelling on a school route)
- OR visit your nearest ZOU ! Études sales point.
Please note
- SNCF or Chemins de Fer de Provence ticket offices do not issue replacement ZOU ! Études PASSes.
- No refunds will be granted whilst you are awaiting your new card.
Carte ZOU ! Solidaire and Solidaire +
Two Carte ZOU ! Solidaire are available:
- The ZOU ! Solidaire card: for passengers whose Quotient Familial (QF) is between €601 and €800 per month, and for passengers receiving the Allocation de Solidarité aux Personnes Agées (ASPA). You’ll receive a 50% discount on your travel ticket purchases.
- The ZOU ! Solidaire + card: for users whose QF is less than €600 per month. You’ll receive a 90% discount on your travel ticket purchases.
You are eligible for a carte ZOU ! Solidaire if:
- Your CAF, Mutualité Sociale Agricole (MSA), Caisse Sociale de Monaco (CSM) or equivalent Quotient Familial (QF) is between €601 and €800 per month
- Or you receive the Allocation de Solidarité aux Personnes Âgées (ASPA)
- Or you are a beneficiary of France Travail, Social Security or a European volunteer
You are eligible for a carte ZOU ! Solidaire + if:
- Your CAF, Mutualité Sociale Agricole (MSA), Caisse Sociale de Monaco (CSM) or equivalent QF is €600 or less per month
- Or you receive the Allocation Adultes Handicapées (AAH) or the Adultes Education Enfants Handicapés (AEEH)
You can check your Quotient Familial by logging into your personal account on the CAF website (or equivalent), then going to the "My certificates" section > Payment certificate.
Please note! Your payment certificate must be dated within the last 3 months.
Online only.
You must provide the following documents:
- A photocopy of an identity document – front side only (national identity card, passport, driving licence, residence permit)
- A recent passport-sized photograph
- For CAF or MSA CSM beneficiaries, a payment certificate issued within the last 3 months showing the applicant’s full name and QF
- For AAH, AEEH or ASPA beneficiaries, a payment certificate from your relevant organisation issued within the last 3 months, stating the beneficiary’s name
- For others, your latest tax assessment notice
The Solidaire or Solidaire + profile is granted for a period of one year.
You will not be able to change your profile during the year, even if your income circumstances change.
A dedicated customer service team for the ZOU ! Solidaire card is available on 04 86 88 50 50 (local call rate) from Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
ZOU ! Malin
It is a personalised digital discount card, sold for €20 a year. It gives you a 30% discount on 1-journey bus or train tickets, including for a travelling companion.
No, the Carte ZOU ! Malin is available to everyone.
With your Carte ZOU ! Malin, you get a 30% discount on a single-journey ticket valid on all ZOU ! trains and buses in the Région Sud.
Yes, your companion also benefits from a 30% discount. You must travel together and present your Carte ZOU ! Malin when your tickets are checked.
The Carte ZOU ! Malin is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
The Carte ZOU ! Malin is available:
- Online on the ZOU ! and SNCF Connect websites
- On the ALLEZ ZOU ! and SNCF Connect apps
- At your local SNCF ticket offices
Simply show your digital card or IATA ticket to the driver or at the ticket counter on board the bus, and they will issue you with a discounted ticket.
